HOW TO FALL IN LOVE WITH YOUR LIFE

Waking up early gives you increased productiveness & better time management, increased focus & concentration and increases your overall mental health & well-being.

 

2.    Move gently as soon as you get up

Moving gently as soon as you get up is optimal as it helps you wake up and loosen tight muscles for the coming day. It also produces an endorphin rush that can lift your mood for the day.

 

3.    Set intentions for the day

Setting daily intentions improves mental health and encourages mindfulness to focus on the present moment. It can also strengthen your sense of purpose and boosts motivation.

 

4.    Speak kindly to yourself

We talk to ourselves more than anyone else so talking kindly to yourself and practicing self-compassion can calm your heart rate, helps you build resilience and takes you out of fight-or-flight mode.

 

5.    Enjoy your coffee mindfully

Adopting mindfulness when consuming your morning coffee can enhance the overall enjoyment and promote a sense of well-being. Incorporating mindful coffee breaks into your day allows a few moments of relaxation.

 

6.    Nourish your gut

Having good gut health is linked to fewer sick days and lowers the risk of allergies and autoimmune conditions.

 

7.    Practice gratitude

Practicing gratitude daily can decrease depression, anxiety and can improve sleep, mood and immunity.

Checking in on family & friends regularly helps people overcome challenges, strengthens bonds & relationships and helps you open up and be more articulate about your life through good times & bad.

Learning something new keeps your mind stimulated, boosts confidence, boosts creativity, helps with personal development, helps you remain relevant and has many cognitive benefits.

 

11.  Buy yourself some flowers

Buying yourself some beautiful blooms is a perfect pick-me-up  to energise you and lift your mood.

 

12.  Fuel your body with good food

Good nutrition fuels your body & supplies you with the nutrients to maintain brain, muscle, bone, nerves, skin, blood circulation and immune system.

 

13.  Surround yourself with people who are radiators not drains

We’ve all had toxic people in our lives at times and people who drain the energy out of a room have a knock on effect to everyone else. Choose people who make you feel good about yourself and about life. Life is too short to be around people who have a negative effect on your mind & well-being.

 

14.  Laugh – laughter is the best medicine so spend time with someone who makes you laugh or watch an episode of your favourite sitcom 

Laughter relaxes the whole body, relieves physical tension and boosts the immune system. It also triggers endorphins which are the body’s natural ‘feel good’ chemicals. It also burns calories so get laughing!!

 

15.  Appreciate the little everyday things – remember life is what is happening when you’re busy planning the future

Don’t save anything for best or spend so much time planning future events you forget to enjoy ‘today’. None of us know how long we’ve got so enjoy every minute!
