HOW TO ORGANISE YOUR LIFE ON A DAILY BASIS
Being organised every day can feel dull & some days you just don’t have the energy for it, but by being organised & on top of things & by planning ahead it really does take less energy in the long run.
I try to stay organised every day
& by doing chores little & often it stops them building up into huge tasks.
Obviously none of us are perfect every day so I try to have a reset day every
Sunday but, by keeping on top of things daily, it enables my mind to feel more
organised and create less stress.
Here are a few things I swear by
daily
1.
Getting my clothes ready the night before
2.
Always making my bed
3.
Easy to follow but productive morning & evening routines
4.
Use my diary daily – planning ahead is vital
5.
A mini clean & tidy daily to make the weekly big clean easier and it
also keeps order in the house
6.
Daily exercise & a grooming routine – imperative for the body &
the mind
7.
Put a window of time aside for replying to messages so you’re not
constantly on your phone & stick to it – BOUNDARIES!!
8.
Cut unnecessary activities – ie too much time scrolling social media,
checking e mails constantly, not implementing boundaries, going above &
beyond for people who wouldn’t do the same for you
9.
Fresh air in some form daily – for me it’s a dog walk
10.
Don’t forget to take breaks & implement self care
MY SUNDAY RESET
1.
A quick scan of my wardrobe for clothes I want to wear the following week
& to see if they need washing/ironing/repairing
2.
My weekly to do list to plan my week ahead
3.
A small declutter of one particular area (I do a big declutter at various
times in the year but by doing a small weekly declutter of just one area at a
time keeps it under control)
4.
Meal planning for the week ahead
5.
Food shop
6.
Laundry & ironing done
7.
Uniforms ready (if your children are still at school)
8.
Bags packed for the week ahead for yourself & your children
9.
Check your diary so you have a good idea of any important meetings,
appointments & events in the week ahead
10.
Rest & Relaxation/Self Care/Gratitude/Grooming/Family time
By implementing these into my daily
& weekly routine I feel more organised and less stressed knowing that
personally I’m on top of things as much as I can be.
